Having retired from professional sport in 2010 I trained at The Boatbuilding Academy to gain qualifications in carpentry. I'm currently starting a new career in oak framing to further my skills and passion for working with wood - see www.OakWrights.co.uk for more details.

During the previous 12 years I won my Green Beret with the Royal Marines, represented Great Britain in Decathlon and England at the Commonwealth Games and also had a World Ranking of 6th as part of the hugley successful British Skeleton Team.

I have been involved in the building trade since 2001 on various domestic renovation projects and started a partnership in 2006 focusing on Eco-Renovating existing domestic buildings.

I believe in using local, sustainably grown wood where possible and pride myself on intelligent, quality craftsmanship.
